Money Fight

I love my husband.

Today my husband calls me at work and say to me that he bought a toddler bed for our 2 year old.
It is a fact that I have been shopping around one we can afford that is of some type of quality.  I am on a list at the local childrens consignment store for toddler beds that come in., they call, I go see if I want it, etc. Plus I have been doing some research on bed bars, just in case we do not want a toddler bed.
Anyway, he calls me up ands says my money gave me money for helping her sell some stuff and I went out and purchased a Dora the Explorer toddler bed.
Here is the thing.  I just told him 2 days ago that I went to the consignment store to view a toddler bed and told him that I didn't like it because it only had one cross bar to support the mattress and it was plastic and extremely pink.  He acknowledge me with a grunt so I thought he heard me.
So when he says that he did this, 2 things got me angry. 
1.  Did he not hear me?  I wasn't interested in the dora bed.
2.  Why didn't he tell me he had money.  We are extremely in the red on bills and havn't paid the mortgage.

So, lets just say he knew I was pissed.
He expected me to greet this news with pleasure and joyfullness and instead I was angry and bitter.

Either way our daughter gets a new toddler bed & mattress and we get further apart.
